Shavon Smith – Founder & CEO, The Prize Foundation | bio
Shavon Smith is the Founder and CEO of The Prize Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families across Texas through education, advocacy, and community outreach. With a deep passion for service and more than two decades of leadership in ministry, entrepreneurship, and community impact, Smith brings a vision of transformation and self-sufficiency to her role at The Prize Foundation.
Before launching The Prize Foundation, Smith built a reputation as a trusted mentor, pastor, and business leader. She is the #1 best-selling author of several books on purpose, faith, and leadership, a certified TEDx speaker, and a sought-after community advocate. Through her work with Prize Publishing House, she has helped thousands of entrepreneurs, authors, and ministries develop their voices and build sustainable platforms.
Smith’s commitment to faith-driven service extends beyond the pulpit—she has worked to support domestic violence survivors, financial literacy initiatives, and career training programs that align with The Prize Foundation’s mission to strengthen Texas communities.
Her dedication to service, advocacy, and empowerment is the driving force behind The Prize Foundation’s work in creating opportunities for growth, financial independence, and generational change.
Smith’s greatest legacy is the lasting impact she strives to make in the lives of those she serves, as well as in her family. She and her husband, Cheyenne Smith, are raising eight incredible children, instilling in them the values of faith, leadership, and service that define her life's work.
“At The Prize Foundation, we don’t just provide services—we provide pathways to a better future.” – Shavon Smith
